Search engine optimisation (SEO)

Your site should be found when customers search

A customer searches for what you do and lands on a competitor. Or finds you, opens the site on a phone, and gives up before it has loaded. We go through every page and tell you what's standing in the way.

The review and the fixes

A pass over every page on the site: what Google reads, what the customer sees, and how fast it loads.

  • A list of what gets fixed, in the order we think you should take it.
  • Help with the changes you choose: clearer wording, better headings and technical fixes.
  • A fixed price for the work, set before we start and after we've seen the site.

How it works

  1. You send us the address

We need to know which site it is, and what you want to be found for. No install and no account needed.

  2. We comb through the whole site

We check whether search engines can read the pages, whether the wording explains what you offer and whether the site loads quickly enough on a phone.

  3. You get the list and a walkthrough

What we found and what it means, in plain words. We go over it with you and say what's worth fixing first and what can wait.

  4. We start working the list

We fix the points you say yes to, and only those. If you'd rather take the rest yourself, the list is yours to work from.

Clear fixes, without ranking promises

You see what we found, why it matters and what we suggest fixing first. We can improve your website content, technical setup and speed. We cannot guarantee a position on Google. If a change does not look worth the work, we will say so.

What the review costs

We price the review once we have seen your website. After the report, you get a separate price for the fixes you want help with. You can also use the report yourself or give it to your web developer.

Frequently asked questions

Can you guarantee we'll come first on Google?

No. We can improve content, technical setup and speed to make the site easier to find and use. Rankings also depend on the competition and the search engine assessment.

Does this apply to a site you didn't build?

Yes. It applies to a site we built and to the one you already have. After the walkthrough we tell you what we can fix directly on the site and what needs doing by whoever built it.

Do we have to rewrite all our text?

Usually not. As much of it is about headings that don't say what you sell, pages Google never reads, and the plumbing underneath that no visitor ever sees. If a piece of text does need changing, we say which and why.

Is this the same thing as accessibility?

Accessibility is about helping more people use the website, including with assistive technology. Search engine optimisation helps customers find it. Some improvements help with both.

Send us the web address and tell us what you want to be found for. We will suggest an approach and price.
